I was with the Automation Systems Group at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien). I received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in computer science from TU Wien in 2004.

My research focused on plug and play concepts for fieldbus systems in building automation. I have however also been involved in a number of other projects in the field of home and building automation, including work on component-based software architectures.
